An absolutely stunning piece of All Blacks history — this 1984 long sleeve New Zealand jersey is one of the most iconic Canterbury designs of the 1980s. Made in New Zealand by Canterbury of New Zealand, it features the classic white fern on a deep black base, paired with the unmistakable heavy cotton/poly blend used throughout this era.
What makes this jersey particularly special is the original CCC size/region tag, a detail highly sought after by collectors. The tag lists international sizing across Canada, NZ/Australia, and the USA, and is the exact style used by Canterbury during the early–mid 80s. The “Made in New Zealand” manufacturing tab and fabric composition tag are still intact, adding even more authenticity.
Condition-wise, this jersey is exceptional for its age. The black is still rich and dark with no wash fade, the collar remains crisp, and the stitching is clean throughout. Tagged Medium but fits closer to a Small, as is typical of 1980s CCC cuts.
A remarkable All Blacks jersey and an outstanding collector’s piece — extremely hard to find in this level of preserved condition.
