This 1997 British & Irish Lions training jersey by Adidas is a true collector’s piece from one of rugby’s most memorable tours — the famous 1997 series in South Africa, where the Lions defeated the reigning world champion Springboks.

A hugely popular design among collectors, this jersey represents the quality and simplicity of late-90s Adidas craftsmanship. Please note that this example has experienced dye run from the navy body onto the white collar and three stripes, a common issue with this release that was worsened by a warm wash. As a result, the collar and stripes have taken on a light purple tone. Please review all photos.

Despite the blemish, the jersey remains in very good condition overall — a genuine vintage item that perfectly captures the spirit of the victorious 1997 Lions tour.
