A stunning piece of American rugby history. This is an original 1999 Boston Rugby Football Club long-sleeve jersey, made by Canterbury during the golden era of heavyweight cotton rugby gear. Boston RFC is one of the oldest and most respected clubs in the United States, founded in 1960 and a cornerstone of New England rugby. With a legacy that spans national championship appearances, USA Eagles representatives, and over 60 years of rugby heritage, Boston RFC remains a name that carries real history.
This jersey captures that identity perfectly. In classic navy and gold hoops with the old-style Boston crest (featuring the Pilgrim hat, muskets and the State House dome), it represents the era when CCC dominated global rugby kit. The heavyweight cotton, deep placket and traditional collar make it a dream jersey for Canterbury collectors, and original CCC American club jerseys from this period are extremely hard to find today — especially in this condition.
Tagged XL and fitting true to size, this 1999 release is in excellent condition for its age with vibrant colours, crisp embroidery and no major flaws. A rare opportunity to own an authentic Boston RFC classic from the Canterbury years.
Please note all pictures shown are of the actual jersey up for purchase.
